Some of the firm's government clients include the New York City Legislature (studies on aging populations in the city), the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland (transportation studies), and the Wilmington Area Planning Council (transportation planning).

Public Opinion Research has completed hundreds of political surveys for Democratic candidates at all levels of government. The company has maintained a 20 plus year relationship with the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, and has done many campaigns in New York, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Florida.

Public Opinion Research has completed a number of market research related surveys for the Landmark Newspaper chain including their daily publications in Maryland, Kentucky, Florida, and New Mexico.
